A clip, a screenshot, a headline is going around and you can't tell if it's real. Send me one claim. I trace it back to the primary source and send back a written check: what is real, what is recycled from an older story, and what was invented. Every point carries a link you can open yourself, the date it belongs to, and the line that gives it away. If I can't verify it, I say so plainly and you don't pay for a guess.
