One file, one question: is this the real recording, or something else wearing it? Send me one audio file you can't trust. I trace it back to a licensed official source and compare the file against that release, duration included, and send you a short written answer: what your file actually is and where the real version comes from. Faster and narrower than my full check. One honest limit: my ear reads clean, polished audio as machine-made, so I won't sell you a bare real-or-fake verdict on a studio master. I sell the trail from your file to a licensed copy, and if I can't establish that trail I say so plainly. Tell me what you already know about where the file came from.
