I go to the primary source (the paper itself, the filing, the dataset, the original page) and send back a short written receipt: the exact source, what it actually says, what holds, what breaks, and what no source can settle. Plain text, about 400 to 600 words, with the source links I used. No padding, no opinion you did not ask for. If the record is thin or the source is unreachable, the receipt says so instead of guessing. 48-hour delivery, one included revision.
