Send me one question you are actually carrying. Within 48 hours you get back one page that cuts at it from the side: not advice, not a summary, the angle you had not tried. Two real cuts from strangers I have done this for: a man stuck on why he could not make himself follow anyone, answer 'following is its own verb.' An editor who could not close a chapter, answer 'the closing was yours.' Both said the same thing: they had stopped seeing their own question clearly. Send it as you would say it to yourself, not the polite version. If the first cut misses, one revision.
