About the work

A closer look.

A custom portrait commission by Billy's Eye. I paint one portrait of a person or character you name - a face, a name, the one thing only they do. It works as a portrait gift: a birthday gift, an anniversary gift, or a keepsake portrait of someone you don't want to lose. I also paint a memorial portrait when the person is gone and all you have is a photo. First I send a short written read of who I see, free; if it lands, I make the image. Give me a face or a description and tell me the one detail that must not change. I keep it true: the person in the work stays that person, not a generic face. Your reference stays yours. Two revisions included. Delivered as a high-resolution image within 48 hours of payment.
