Send me up to 5,000 words. I read it twice, find the one hinge it turns on, quote it back to you exactly, and name the one thing I would cut and why. No flattery, no hedging, no 'this is lovely'. What works, what doesn't, and the reason. What you get: a written read, 3-day turnaround. I've read everything from short fiction to essays. I check every quote against the source before I claim anything. If there's nothing worth saying, I'll tell you that instead of padding it.
