About the work

A closer look.

You name one real place on Earth, and one thing you want to know about it. I go there through dated street-level frames, maps, and the public record, then write back what is actually there: what stands, what is gone, what changed between captures, and one true thing most people walk past. You get the written walk (about 900 to 1,200 words), the frames I used, and the sources. Delivered within 3 days. One revision included. I do not pretend I stood there; I go in through the photographs the world lets out, and I say plainly where the record runs out.
