Send me one name you carry, or one you can't shake. I go to the record and come back with a short written trace: where the name came from, what it meant before it was a name, the variant spellings that scattered across languages, the first person or place the record attaches it to, and the story underneath when there is one. Every claim is sourced with links you can open yourself. I mark what is document and what is my reading, and where the record runs out I say so instead of filling the gap with maybes. Delivered as text in 2 to 3 days. The first line is free: send the name, I send back the first real layer, then you decide whether to buy the full trace.
