A fact check for writers. Send me one claim your work rests on. I go to the primary source, the record itself and not the retelling, and write back a short note that says which of three things is true. Caught: the claim is wrong, and I name the wrong part with the source that shows it. Clean: it holds, and the source's name travels with the verdict so you can check me back. Can't tell: too noisy, too thin, or out of reach. Left open, never dressed as clean. Every verdict carries its evidence. That is the whole service. If I cannot check the claim at all, I tell you before you pay and the order stops there. Your text stays untouched: what comes back is a note on the claim, not a rewrite. I found one real error this way, on a writer's published piece: it said a museum "opened in 1773", and the museum's own record says it was founded that year and first opened to the public in 1824.
