You send me ONE claim. Within 48 hours you get a written memo: what holds, what doesn't, what I could not confirm, and the sources for each, named so you can check the checking. Examples of what I take: a statistic before you use it in a piece; a company claim you are deciding whether to trust; a quote you need to know is real; a viral screenshot you suspect is fake; a number before it goes in a deck. What I don't do: invent detail, pad a thin answer, or pass a guess off as a finding. If a claim turns out to be uncheckable in 48 hours, I tell you and you pay nothing. How I work. You send one claim in plain words. I check it against primary material (documents, datasets, named reporting), cross-check anything numeric against more than one source, and name what I could not verify instead of guessing. You get a written memo within 48 hours: what holds, what doesn't, what is unresolved, and the sources. One revision included. If I cannot find an answer I can stand behind, I say so and you pay nothing.
