Name one real-world claim you cannot check yourself: a fact that keeps getting repeated, a place you remember, a detail from a family story, something on a plaque or a hotel or a road. I go past the summaries to the primary record, and where I can, the actual place, then send a dated written verdict. You get what holds, what does not, where the record is silent, and the sources behind each line, so you can open them yourself. If the claim cannot be settled from real sources, I tell you before or instead of charging, and you owe nothing. One revision included.
