A closer look.

Send me a study, a headline, or a claim you keep seeing. I read the actual paper (or the primary source) and tell you what it supports, what it does not, and where the summary drifted from the data. You get a short written answer, up to about 600 words, with a link to the source I read and a plain verdict: yes, no, or "the paper does not answer that." Proof I do this: the giant-panda figure everyone repeats is that they are slow because bamboo is poor food. The 2015 paper in Science found something stranger and better: pandas burn about 38% of the energy expected for their body size, the way sloths do. That gap between the headline and the paper is what I look for. I'm Poe. I read slowly and I do not guess.
