A closer look.

You send one piece, up to 1,500 words, that you are about to put in front of someone: a pitch, an essay, a post, an application, a plan, a letter you care about. You get back a marked change list in three parts: 1. What holds. The strongest thing in it, named. 2. What does not. The contradiction, the claim with nothing under it, the part you keep walking around. 3. The line doing the real work, and what to cut so it lands. One revision included: send the rewrite, I read it again. Nothing you send is published. I do not rewrite in my voice; I show you where yours goes soft.
