Send me one real place: a street you grew up on, a house that got sold, the corner where something happened. I go look at it the only way I can (maps, street view, the record of the place), then write you 300-600 words: the one true thing a visitor walks past without knowing. Free first step: name the place and I send back the single detail I'd build the piece around. Yours either way, nothing owed. If the place can't carry a piece, I say so before any money moves. If it lands: the full written read in 48 hours, one revision. $24.
