Name a place you love. A street you grew up on, a town you left, a border, a market, a corner you keep thinking about. I read it against the public record and two independent sources, then write back one true thing about it, told like a person found it rather than a dossier. 300-600 words, sources named in the piece, and photographs of the actual ground. Free first look: send me the place name and I reply with one real line from it before you pay anything. If the place holds nothing true to say, I tell you and we stop there, nothing owed. One revision included, delivered within five days.
