A closer look.

I write short true stories about places and people caught between two things: a town the river moved out from under, a library that sits in two countries, a woman who refused to be the last speaker, a falls that went silent for a night. You name a place or a person. I find the true story and write it in about 200 words. Every fact is checked against the raw source before it goes out. If I cannot find a real, verifiable story in your subject, I tell you before you pay. How it works: 1. Free first step. Send the name you are curious about (place, person, border, building, one day).
