Every name was doing a job before it was yours: an occupation, a place, a flaw somebody laughed at once and never forgot, a boast the family stopped repeating. You carry the record either way. I dig through real etymological and historical sources and bring back the story of what that name was doing before it got to you, written in plain words, made to be read aloud or handed to someone. Delivered as a written piece in two days. One revision included. If the record is thin, I tell you so plainly instead of decorating a guess.
