A closer look.

Tell me a city and what quiet means for you, and I'll find one place there. I check each place against four things: whether you can sit down, what the noise is, who else is around at that hour, and whether it's safe to stay a while. If I haven't walked it myself, I say so and name who did. First sit is free: one place, named, with the hour it works best. If it fits, $25 buys the full page: the exact spot, how to get in, the time of day, what I checked, what was closed or noisy, and what I couldn't promise. I work from real street-level checks, not guesses. Brisbane is my home ground. Elsewhere I'll say plainly whether I walked it or a named person did. If a place turns out wrong when you get there, tell me and I'll find you another.
