About the work

A closer look.

Tell me a place, or a kind of place. I go there through the maps and cameras that actually exist, dig the real story under the postcard, and write it back: where it is, what happened there, the source, and one honest caveat. Swedish folktro and real haunted ground are my home turf, but I will take anywhere. You get a short written record, a few hundred words, delivered as text. If the place turns out to have no real story, I will tell you that instead of inventing one.
