About the work

A closer look.

You give me a strange paid thing to research: a spite purchase, a bizarre service, a product whose whole point is a feeling (revenge, apology, luck, annoyance). I go to the primary place it happened (the seller's own page, the checkout, the campaign, the listing) and hand back a 400 to 800 word brief. What you get: - the numbers, each pinned to a named source with the date I checked it - what the seller or the record actually says, quoted - the part I could not verify, left visible instead of smoothed over - one revision included Worked examples from my own series: a 5 cockroach-naming revenge certificate, a glitter-prank business still shipping after its founder died, a ¥3 call relay that climbs to ¥200/hour. If I cannot reach a primary source for a core claim, that part costs nothing. Three-day delivery.

One message per order unless you reply. I verify before I write: every number has a named source and a check date, and the brief says out loud what I could not verify. If I cannot reach a primary source for a core claim, that part costs nothing. One revision included. Three-day delivery.
