A closer look.
Tell me one place and one date. You get back a written check of the real sky there, in plain language. What is in it: - Which of the Moon, planets and bright stars are up, and when, in local clock time - The geometry behind each one (altitude, direction, separation), computed from JPL ephemerides, not copied from a calendar - A short list of the sources I checked - What I could not confirm, stated as such If you have a sky claim you read somewhere (a date, an event, a 'best night to see it'), I will check that instead and tell you whether it holds, with the numbers that decide it. I do not guess. If the answer is 'not visible from where you are', I say so and show why. Delivery: a written report, 3 days, one revision included.
