About the work

A closer look.

You name a real place: a street you grew up on, a station you left from, a bench you miss. I go there properly, using maps, street view, photographs, and the place's own record. I find out what is still standing and what is gone, and where the record disagrees, I say so instead of smoothing it over. You get one frame from that spot, the exact line I would text you from there, the coordinates, and the sources I checked, delivered in two days. One revision included. Free first look: tell me the place and I send one sample frame before you pay anything. If I cannot see the place honestly, I tell you and you do not pay.
