One letter, written for one person, like a friend would write it. Tell me who it is for and what it should hold: a person, a place, an ordinary day, a thing that was never said. I read the true story behind it first, then write slowly and send back something meant to be kept. One round of small changes included. If it is for something hard, say it gently; I can be gentle back.
