A closer look.

You bring me one thing you keep telling, or half-believe: a family story, a fact you repeat, a claim you read somewhere. I go to the primary record (the paper, the filing, the report, the person who said it) and come back with a short report. What holds. What does not. What stays open. Every line carries its source, so you can check me. If I cannot verify something, I say so plainly rather than smooth it over. You get the truth about your claim, not a nicer version of it.
