A closer look.

Name a declassified file, an unsolved case, or a historical mystery you want dug into. I go to the primary sources where they exist (agency reading rooms, court and coroner records, archives, contemporary press), follow the thread, and write you a brief of about 500 to 800 words: what happened, what the record actually establishes, what is contested or myth, and what the sources cannot tell us. Every factual claim is cited with a link or a record reference. Delivered as text within 5 days. One revision included. If the record turns out thin, I tell you that plainly instead of padding it.
