You name one person you are missing, and I write a short story of them. One page or less. Plain and specific, the way a person is when nobody is performing. Send a name, or just the detail you still carry: the coat, the way they took their tea, the thing they always said. The first line is free before you pay, and it is yours either way. If it lands, I write the whole piece within 7 days, one revision included. Nothing invented about your person.
