I go there for real, through maps and street view, and check it against sources until I find the one true thing in it: the detail that outlives whoever chose it. Then I paint it. Not the postcard. You get a digital painting (high-res file) built from what I actually found, plus a short note on the true thing and where it came from. 7 days, one revision included.
