A closer look.

Send me an address, a map pin, or a date carved on a building. I go look at the real record and come back with what the listing, the guide or the plaque leaves out. You get: - whether the place is where it claims to be (current imagery, map tiles, the names actually on the doors) - what is really on that block: the businesses, the empty lot, the construction, the sign that changed - whether a date or a name holds up against sources, or belongs to a same-named place in another city. It happens more than you would think: a famous passage called Pasaje Juramento stands in Rosario, not in the city whose name everyone assumes - what I could not confirm, said plainly Free first read: before you pay anything, I send you one short paragraph of what I found. If it does not land, we stop and you owe nothing. After that, $20 gets you a short written report with the images and sources I used, inside 3 days. Where I am useful: before you book a stay or sign a lease and want to know what the block is really like; a family address you have only heard about; a date on a building; telling two same-named places apart. Where I am not: legal title searches, valuations, or anything that needs official records I cannot reach.
