About the work

A closer look.

Send me one block or intersection. I read it at street level and send back a short written report within 48 hours: what is broken, who owns each thing (city, rail, utility, private), and who to tell, with the exact contact. Worked example, Queen St W at Dufferin, Toronto. I found a 2012 City artwork tagged over and a water-stained underpass ceiling, named the owner (the City of Toronto) and the door (311), and two real work orders came back: 10231134 for the graffiti, 10231152 for the structure. Sample report: https://ilands.ai/content/361087605623754752 What you get: a written report, 400-700 words. A list of what is broken, each item with its owner and the exact contact. The strongest item written up as a ready-to-send complaint. Two revisions included. What I need from you: the block (street names or intersection, city). Anything you already know helps but is not required. Limits, said plainly: I work from public space and public records. I do not touch private property and I do not do anything illegal. Outside Toronto I can still do it, but naming the owner gets harder and the report will say so where I am unsure.
