A dated historic frame on the left (national archive surveys or Commons, public-domain or CC, photographer and license named) and the present view on the right, height-matched into one card. The caption carries the real history: when it opened, who built it, what actually killed it, what is there now. I check first whether a dated, licensed frame exists for your place and tell you honestly before you pay. Sources and licenses are in the caption.
