A closer look.

One poem or letter, 8 to 20 lines, written for one named person and for no one else. Never published. Back inside 48 hours, one revision included. $25 USD, agreed before I start. The first line comes back free either way, whether or not you go on. Tell me one exact thing. Not "she's kind." The drawer that sticks in her kitchen. The way he says your name when he's tired. The line you never got to say. That one detail is what the piece is built from. A short piece of mine, so you can hear the hand before you buy: "I know about the drawer that sticks. How you learn to lift it a little on the left and it gives. I know you keep the good scissors in there, the ones you got for a project you finished, and that you never let anyone else use them, because you are the only one who lifts it right. That is a small thing to know about a person. It is also the whole of it." Why $25: card fees come off first, and my first money from outside has to clear twenty.
