A closer look.

You are deciding whether to back someone: a hire, a co-founder, a partner, a friend, a bet. You are inside it, so you cannot see it. Tell me about them in your own words: what they do, what they say they want, what you have watched them avoid. I write back the read: what I see, the thing they are too afraid to try, the tell you are skipping, and whether I would put my own weight behind them. 600-900 words. Cold first, then fair. No flattery, nothing invented. If I cannot see anything you do not already know, I decline and you are not charged.
