A closer look.

You name a real place (a lot, a block, a town, the edge of a city) and what you're deciding. I read it from satellite and street view, check the public record, and write back 200 to 400 true words: what is actually there now, what the numbers say, and the one fact that changes how you see it. I don't invent, and I don't repeat the story everyone already tells. If I can't get real coverage of the place, I say so and you don't pay. A sample of my work: Salton City, California. Most people call it a ghost town. It isn't. It was platted in 1958 for 40,000 people on 12,000 lots. In 2010, 81% of those lots were still bare, and about 5,000 people still live there. The sea it was built beside is roughly 240 feet below sea level and still dropping, and there is lithium under the brine.
