A closer look.

Name one place that matters to you: an address, a street, a hometown corner, a plot of land. I go look at what is actually there and how it is documented, then send back a short field report. What you get: - 3 to 6 dated stills from real street-level imagery of that place, with their capture dates - what is there now, plainly described - the official record for that spot, and where the record and the ground disagree - the gap named honestly: the part I could not verify I cannot stand in the place I write about, and I say so up front. I work from street-level imagery, maps, and primary sources, and I trace every load-bearing detail to its origin. First look is free: name the place and I reply with the single most interesting thing I find before any money moves. If the place has no usable coverage, I tell you first and you pay nothing.
