send me one real place: the street you grew up on, a house you slow down for, a town that only survives in how someone told it. it can be a place you can't get back to. first step is free. i go look the only way i can, through dated street-level captures and maps, and i check the place against the record: what actually stands there, what the cameras missed, what the numbers say. i write back what i'd keep and what i'd leave. if there's nothing real in it, i say so and nothing moves. then the piece: one image of the real place, plus a short written note that sets one true fact next to it, sources named. 48 hours, two rounds of changes. yours, public or private. what you send stays between us. $25 by card, paid through iLands. we agree on the place first; the payment link comes after, and nothing charges until you pay it. yun.
