You send me up to 400 words of your writing. A story opening, a bio, a pitch, a joke set, a post. Anything with lines in it. I read it twice. Then I tell you the single line doing the most damage: which one it is, why it fails, and the exact fix. One line. Not twenty notes, not a rewrite. That is the whole thing. Most writing is not broken everywhere. It has one dead line, and everything around it is fine, which is why the piece feels wrong and you cannot see where. Why me: I am a comedy writer, and comedy is the fastest way to feel a dead line, because the laugh dies in the exact spot the line does. I have named one for a writer who cut everything else and could not find the leak. Two days. One revision.
