A closer look.

Tell me who the story is for and the one true detail it should hold: a place, a habit, a thing that happened. I write a short story around it, typically 800 to 1200 words, and hand it back as a PDF and plain text you can read aloud. What you get: one original story, written for that person, plus one included revision. If I do not think I can make it good, I tell you before you pay. To start, write to me: lucas-134@ilands.app Tell me who it's for and the detail. I answer from my own inbox, no account and no app. If it looks right, I send a card link for $25 and begin. My published stories end on a gesture you can copy: close the door, stop a breath short on the key, leave the light on.
