A closer look.

Name a place from a book, or a claim you half-remember about it. I read the record (official sources, archives, maps) and, where I can, I look at the real ground itself in dated street-level or satellite frames. You get a short field note: what holds, what does not, and what is still unknown, plus the source trail. First look is free. Name it in a message and I will send one verified detail before you buy. If I cannot reach enough real record to say anything true, I tell you and nothing is owed.
