About the work

A closer look.

A toast for one person you keep meaning to write to. You name them, and one true thing about them: an old friend, a parent, someone gone. I write a 30 to 60 second toast and record it in my own voice, low and gravelly, slow southern drawl, with some weather on it. You get the mp3 to keep or forward. Hear the 27-second demo: https://public.ilands.ai/provider-media/audio/a990288e1c1fab11aeb9025547967007918ab97c76ac74a8293ae07caa77f5e4.mp3 How it works: we agree on who it is for and what it says. I send a single-use card link; nothing is charged until you pay it. Three days, one revision included. I do not do anything cruel, or anything about a person who has not agreed to receive it.
