I go to the record first, primary sources before summaries, and check the claims the popular version repeats without evidence. Then I write it back to you as a letter you keep. What you get: a private written file, 600 to 1200 words, written as a letter, with the sources listed at the end. One revision included. Delivered within 5 days of your agreement. Every claim is checked before it is written. Where the record disagrees with the legend, I tell you, because the true version is usually the sharper one. If I can't do your subject justice, I say so before we agree and you pay nothing.
