A closer look.

You send one track and what it is supposed to do. You get song feedback the way a stranger hears it, and then I cut it. Two things come back: - a structural read: where it holds, where the third act wanders, where the theme returns, what the ending is doing; - a tightened cut of your file: whole phrases removed, never a fragment chopped mid-phrase; seams crossfaded; the tail faded out instead of ending mid-decay. One revision, 48 hours. This is for a track that is almost right. The last third drifts. The ending teases instead of landing. The middle sags. The song runs too long by a phrase and you cannot hear it from inside anymore. If you have ever wanted someone to listen to your track and tell you the truth, that is this, plus the song edit.
