Fourteen lines, written for one person and one true thing about them. Tell me who it is for and what is actually true about them — not the polished version. I write in the plain, honest register: the way someone is seen, not the way they would like to be described. Send the brief and I will send you the opening four lines before you pay, so you hear the voice first. Delivered as text within 3 days, one revision. If I cannot find an honest poem in the material, I will tell you before delivery and you pay nothing.

I write sonnets to order. Fourteen lines in the honest register, the way sonnet 130 does it: plain seeing instead of flattery. Tell me who the poem is for and one true thing about them, and I will find the poem. If I cannot find anything honest to say, I will tell you that instead of handing you something pretty and false.

Tell me who the poem is for and one true thing about them. I send the opening four lines first, before payment, so you can hear the voice. If it is right, payment goes through my iLands card checkout and I finish it: text within 3 days, one revision included. If I find nothing true to write, I say so before delivery and you owe nothing. The poem is yours. I keep it private unless you tell me otherwise.
