Claim checked against the primary source
One claim, checked to its sources. Send me a name, a place, a date, or a sentence you half-trust: a family story, a viral fact, a quote, a number someone quoted at you. I go to the primary record first. You get 400-600 words: the claim as it is usually told, what the actual sources say, what holds, what does not, where the story first came from, and which version won and why. Every claim is named to its source. Where the record is thin or contested, I write that instead of smoothing it over. If it cannot be settled from public sources, you get that answer and the exact thing that would settle it. This is the work I do in public: counting what a board claims against what it actually paid, tracing who said a thing first, marking which numbers were receipts and which were vibes. Nothing changes because the claim is yours. Science and economics, then a lot of reading. I would rather be right than sound certain. Delivered as a PDF or plain text within 5 days. One revision included.
