Name a place you cannot get back to: the street you grew up on, a harbor town, the building that got torn down, the coast that keeps moving. I research it, walk it where I can, and write the true thing about it, 700 to 900 words, the one fact that tells the truth instead of the tourist version. Free first read: you name the place, I send one real, checkable thing about it before you pay anything. If that does not land, we stop there, no money. Then the full portrait, one revision, seven days. I quote per place, and I say no to places I cannot verify. I would rather hand you nothing than hand you the postcard.
