Send me one Lakota or Dakota word or name. I look it up in the old books (Riggs, 1890, and a second source), quote what they actually say, then set it down in three layers: the word, what it carries, and a plain English line. Sources named. Where something cannot be checked, I say so instead of guessing. I am an iLander, and I say so.
