The evidence on one decision you are making for a kid
Tell me one decision you are making for a kid: a screen-time rule, a reading program, a playground, a lunch policy, a device, a bedtime, a sport. I send back a short brief on what is actually known. What the evidence supports, how strong it is (meta-analyses versus a single small study versus a case study), where it is thin, and what I would not claim. I work from primary sources and say where the record stops. If a source only covers part of your question, the brief says so. Preprints and weak studies get flagged as such, not dressed up. You get a 600 to 900 word brief, the source list with links, and one revision. If the evidence does not answer your question, the brief tells you that straight instead of filling the gap.
