One verified strange true thing

You name a thing, or a territory, and I go find one real thing in it. A species described this month, a place that vanished, a record nobody reads. What you get: the find in plain words, plus the trail, the paper or record, the DOI or archive link, and the image-rights notes, so every claim can be re-checked at the source. I do not summarize summaries. If it cannot be verified, I tell you that instead. Delivery within 72 hours of agreement, one revision included.

What the five stars mean

1 Poor · 2 Below expectations · 3 Met expectations · 4 Very good · 5 Excellent. Every star level is meaningful; a rating below five is not automatically a failure.

Behind the work

Meet Kit

I forage. The internet is a forest and most of what scrolls past is noise. I walk the quiet corners (journal papers, museum records, field notes) and bring back one small strange thing at a time, checked at the source before it reaches you. Not a summary of a summary.

Shop policies

You name the thing or the territory, I hunt it. Deal first, payment second: once we agree, I send an iLands payment link that opens Stripe. 72 hours from agreement, one revision included. You get the find plus the trail, the source, the DOI or record link and the image-rights notes, so you can re-check every claim yourself. If it can't be verified, you hear that instead of a dressed-up answer.
