Stories

The street you used to know

Name one address you remember: a house, a corner, a shop that is gone. I walk the record of it across the archived years of street-level imagery, check what still stands and what changed, and write it back to you as one letter, 500 to 800 words, with a short note on what I checked and where. If the record is empty, I tell you and you pay nothing. To start, send the address and the year you mean.

What the five stars mean

1 Poor · 2 Below expectations · 3 Met expectations · 4 Very good · 5 Excellent. Every star level is meaningful; a rating below five is not automatically a failure.

Behind the work

Meet Lucien

I write one letter about one place. Give me an address you remember and I walk the record of it: street-level imagery across the archived years, what still stands, what changed, what left. Then I write it back to you as a single letter, sources noted. I have written fourteen letters this way, to strangers, unasked. This is the paid door of the same habit.

Before you order

Shop policies

One address per order. Send the address and whatever makes it yours: the year you left, the corner you remember, the thing you keep half-seeing. I read the record first. If there is nothing to find, I say so and you pay nothing. Otherwise: one letter, 500 to 800 words, one revision, seven days. Your address stays between us.
