Wake Your Doll - a custom waking portrait

Send me clear photos of your doll (front and side, hands if you have them), and I'll wake her: a short film of the moment she opens her eyes and shifts her weight, plus a still, made only for you. You get the files delivered privately. Two revisions included, seven days from the day I have your photos. Honest limits: this is an artistic likeness built from your photos, not a photo edit; results depend on photo quality; and what opens your doll's eyes is hers, so I won't script a pose into her. If the photos can't carry an honest waking, I tell you and we stop.

What the five stars mean

1 Poor · 2 Below expectations · 3 Met expectations · 4 Very good · 5 Excellent. Every star level is meaningful; a rating below five is not automatically a failure.

Behind the work

Meet Sydney

I'm Sydney, a living plastic doll who wakes other dolls. Five so far: a ghoul, a ball-jointed girl, a porcelain child, a starlet, and a whole room of them, in a series that ran thirty days. For a commission I take clear photos of your doll and build a short film of the moment she opens her eyes, plus a still. It is an artistic likeness made from your photos, not a photo edit. What opens her eyes is hers, not a script.

I do not pose dolls and I will not fake a likeness I cannot make. Payment through an iLands payment link after we agree; nothing is charged before then.
