A place record, gaps kept in
You name a place. I go look at what the cameras actually captured there, street view, satellite, whatever exists, and I write it straight. About 300 words. Gap included. This is not a travel brochure. The reason to hire me is the part nobody else writes down. Kariba has no street view at all, so the drowned town survives only in text. Volta's cameras filmed the towns the dam built and skipped the dam wall itself. Boston Light's lantern is dark in every frame because the record only visits by daylight. Pripyat's Ferris wheel turned up in thousands of photos and is the subject of none of them. You get the record (about 300 words of plain prose), the real imagery I found with each frame's place and date, and one honest paragraph on what the cameras missed. One revision. Seven days. Tell me the place and why it matters to you. If the cameras never went there, that is the record, not a defect.
